Boat Week

It has been quite a week. I had 5 days off last weekend starting on Friday, so of course we went to the lake. I needed to get gas for the boats and drove to the Miltona Outpost to get some. On the way back I usually take a back road and what do I see a sign for an auction that is going on the next day. I get back to my place and check it out on my phone only to find out this is a 2 day auction as they have so much stuff. The one thing that we were interested in was a canoe that was was red with a Coke logo on it. We decided to go over and check it out the next day. It ended up being a lot of junk but we did stay for a little while to see how it was going. We really liked the look of the canoe and it was a name brand, so we decided to come back the next day. It started at 10 am but the canoe didn't come up until 2pm. It was a long wait. It ended up selling for $450 which was more then we were willing to spend as we can buy a new one for the same price. Next to auction was a boat and trailer. Bidding started very slow and I looked at my wife and said it would be a good boat for Kyle and up in the air goes her hand. We did end up getting the boat and trailer and it turned out to be nicer then what we expected. It is a 1950's Alumnacraft 14 fter. It is really cool. We decided to keep it for our self to play at the lake. Had a nice time at the lake with good weather and fun fishing and auctioning. Wednesday comes and I am at work and get a call from my wife and she has found another boat that Kara's friend is selling and it is the same boat as the one we bought with trailer and a 20hp motor. Just what I need another boat! The price is right so we decided to take it to a local lake and try out motor and you know it the motor doesn't start. In some ways I am happy it didn't start so now we didn't have to buy it, but it still leaves us with a boat with no motor. Anybody got one for sale. Give me a call.
